We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Robot Mechanical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the annual robotics challenge and developing a robot that meets the challenge's specifications. This position involves extensive research on past challenges and their solutions to innovate and design competitive robots.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and comprehend the detailed requirements of the FIRST robotics challenges. Research previous years' challenges and winning strategies to inform design decisions. Design and prototype robots using CAD software and rapid prototyping tools. Collaborate with a team of engineers and students to refine robot designs. Mentor students in mechanical design principles, encouraging innovative thinking and problem solving skills. Ensure that all designs adhere to competition rules and specifications. Document design processes and decisions for team reference and competition submissions.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Strong foundational knowledge in mechanical design, CAD software, and engineering principles. Previous experience in robotics competitions (e.g., FIRST, VEX) is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
