Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of mechanical technicians in conducting preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on mining equipment and machinery
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency
• Coordinate with the engineering team to plan and execute equipment upgrades and modifications
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Adani's operational standards
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment to support maintenance activities
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall mine productivity

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Certification in Mechanical Maintenance or similar field is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the Coal Mining industry
• Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising a team of technicians
• Proven track record of implementing maintenance schedules and ensuring equipment reliability
• Proficiency in maintenance practices specific to coal mining equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience with maintenance planning software
