Job Title: Mechanical Foreman

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Foreman supervises mechanical work activities at site or workshop, ensuring jobs are completed safely, on time, and as per technical specifications. He leads technicians and workers, coordinates daily tasks, and maintains quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation, repair, and maintenance work Assign daily tasks to mechanics, fitters, welders, and helpers Read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions Ensure work is completed as per schedule and quality requirements Monitor use of tools, machinery, and materials Enforce safety rules and use of PPE at site/workshop Inspect completed work and resolve technical issues Coordinate with engineers, stores, and management Maintain daily work reports and manpower records

Skills & Requirements:

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment Ability to lead and manage a team Good understanding of safety standards and procedures Basic computer or reporting skills preferred Problem-solving and decision-making ability

Education & Experience (Preferred):

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related trade 5+ years of experience in mechanical works, including supervisory role

Work Environment:

Factory / workshop / construction or project site May involve outdoor work and physical supervision

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
