Job Description

The Mechanical Fitter's role involves assembling machinery, installing new mechanical components, and performing maintenance on equipment. The job requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install mechanical systems and machinery. Perform routine maintenance and repair work on mechanical equipment. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Ensure all machinery operates efficiently and safely. Use hand and power tools to fabricate and modify parts. Conduct tests to diagnose mechanical issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work. Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications

A completed apprenticeship or vocational training as a Mechanical Fitter. Proven experience working as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and precision in work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
