Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and technical specifications
Assemble, install, align, and fit mechanical parts, pipes, ducts, and equipment
Carry out cutting, drilling, grinding, welding, and fitting activities as required
Inspect and test fitted components for proper functioning
Perform maintenance and repair work on mechanical systems
Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly
Follow safety rules, site instructions, and company policies
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians
Maintain work records and report issues or material requirements
Requirements & Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Fitter or relevant trade
1-5 years of experience as a Fitter (construction / HVAC / industrial projects preferred)
Good knowledge of tools, materials, and fitting techniques
Ability to read drawings and follow instructions
Physically fit and willing to work at site conditions
Basic knowledge of safety practices
Preferred Skills:
Experience in HVAC / piping / mechanical works
Teamwork and discipline
Willingness to work overtime or at project sites if required
