The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assemble, install, and align mechanical components and machines as per drawings.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery.
Inspect machines for wear, damage, or misalignment and rectify issues.
Replace faulty parts such as bearings, belts, gears, shafts, and seals.
Perform fitting works including drilling, tapping, grinding, and welding (basic).
Ensure proper lubrication of machines and moving parts.
Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
Maintain tools and ensure proper housekeeping in the work area.
Record maintenance activities and report issues to the supervisor.
Support installation and commissioning of new machines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
