Perform routine maintenance and repair work on mechanical equipment, which may include replacing worn parts.
Blueprint interpretation:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements and plans.
Fabrication:
Use tools like grinders, hand files, and cutting torches to shape and modify parts to specifications.
Quality control:
Inspect finished assemblies and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality and size standards.
Problem-solving:
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to find and implement effective solutions.
Safety and documentation:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintain a clean and organized work area, and keep accurate records of all work performed.
