Roles / Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical layouts, and assembly instructions.

Perform fitting, drilling, tapping, cutting, and mounting operations for control panels.

Assemble enclosures, brackets, bus bars, and other mechanical parts as per design.

Ensure alignment, proper fitting, and finishing of components before electrical wiring.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machines for fabrication tasks.

Maintain quality standards by inspecting assemblies for defects and rectifying issues.

Support electrical fitters and panel wirers during the assembly process.

Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Report material shortages, assembly issues, or design deviations to the supervisor.

Skills/Knowledge:

Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Fitter trade.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in mechanical fitting, preferably in control panel / electrical equipment manufacturing.

Knowledge of mechanical drawings and fabrication techniques.

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, drilling/tapping machines, and measuring instruments.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail, safety-conscious, and quality-focused.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
