Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and machinery used in liquor production (e.g., conveyors, bottling lines, pumps, compressors). Conduct routine preventive maintenance on mechanical systems. Troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out prompt corrective repairs. Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs. Work closely with the production team to minimize equipment downtime. Participate in the installation and commissioning of new machinery. Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Recommend improvements for equipment efficiency and longevity.

Application Question(s):

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade certification.
Proven experience (3-5 years preferred) as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing or food/beverage environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or emergencies as required.

Education:

Diploma (Preferred)
Experience:

Mechanical fitter: 3 years (Preferred)
