Job Description

Perform mechanical assembly of machines and equipment according to design drawings, specifications, and SOPs. Inspect and verify mechanical components before and after assembly to ensure quality and accuracy. Assemble, align, and install shafts, gears, bearings, motors, and other machine components. Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of assembled machines to ensure proper operation. Coordinate with Production and QC teams to identify and rectify assembly defects or deviations. Maintain assembly tools, jigs, fixtures, and equipment in good condition. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality guidelines, and housekeeping norms on the shop floor. Document and report assembly progress, issues, and maintenance needs to the Manager - Production. Support continuous improvement initiatives in assembly processes and efficiency. Mentor and guide junior assembly technicians in best practices and safety protocols.
