Position Title: Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Department: Engineering / Maintenance

Reporting To: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plant Head

1. Purpose of the Role

To perform mechanical maintenance, installation, repair, and servicing of plant machinery to ensure

high uptime and reliability.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Mechanical Maintenance

? Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on ACM, pulverizes, roasters, conveyors,

destones, blenders, elevators, packing machines, screw conveyors, etc.

? Handle bearing replacement, belt alignment, lubrication, gearbox servicing, welding, and

fabrication.

B. Breakdown Management

? Attend mechanical breakdowns promptly to ensure minimum downtime.

? Identify root cause for repeated failures and propose corrective actions.

C. Installation & Changeovers

? Assist in erection, installation, machine shifting, and line modification.

? Support changeovers, trials, and process improvements.

D. Documentation

? Maintain checklists, daily breakdown logs, spare usage records, and AMC coordination.

E. Hygiene & Safety

? Ensure tools, equipment, and spare parts are clean and hygienic as per FSSC/food safety

norms.

? Follow safe work procedures (LOTO, confined space, hot work).

3. Qualifications & Skills

? ITI Fitter / Diploma Mechanical.

? 2-8 years in mechanical maintenance (preferably food industry).

? Good hands-on troubleshooting and fabrication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
