Job Description

Assemble mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, and full machines based on drawings and work instructions. Fit and align components such as bearings, shafts, motors, brackets, frames, and fixtures. Assist in installation of electrical, pneumatic, and motion components (if required). Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly diagrams, and BOM (Bill of Materials). Verify dimensions, tolerances, and alignments as per specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, drills, grinders, and measurement instruments (vernier, micrometer, dial gauge). Basic knowledge of fitting operations like drilling, tapping, marking, filing, and grinding. Coordinate with production, electrical, and quality teams for smooth workflow. Assist during machine testing and trial runs. Support installation or service team when required (optional).

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong hands-on skills in mechanical fitting and machine assembly. Ability to read mechanical fabrication and assembly drawings. Good understanding of measurements, tolerances, and alignment. Basic knowledge of bearings, shafts, motors, linear guides, and mechanical components. Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
