Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery. The role involves reading technical drawings, using hand and power tools, and ensuring all mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assemble, install, and align mechanical components and machinery Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manuals Perform routine maintenance and breakdown repairs Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out corrective actions Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Replace worn or defective parts and ensure proper machine function Conduct equipment testing and trial runs after installation or repair Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards Maintain maintenance records and reports Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians Requirements & Qualifications ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade certification Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter (industry experience preferred) Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, etc. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics Familiarity with safety regulations and maintenance practices Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments Good problem-solving and teamwork skills Preferred Skills Welding or fabrication knowledge Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Preventive maintenance experience Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical integration Work Environment Manufacturing / Plant / Workshop / Site-based Shift work may be required

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
