Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and fit mechanical and hydraulic systems and components. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure proper assembly. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with mechanical and hydraulic systems. Use a variety of hand and power tools, and may be involved in simple fabrication and welding. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work. Ensure all machinery operates efficiently and safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and skills

Proven experience as a mechanical or hydro-mechanical fitter. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, with a specific emphasis on hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and precision. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant vocational training or completed apprenticeship is often required.. Diploma in Mechanical preferred. Minimum 4 Years of experience.
