Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed mechanical cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and piping systems. Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and
requirements.

Perform quantity take-offs using estimating software and industry standards. Solicit and analyze vendor/subcontractor quotes for equipment and materials. Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work. Coordinate with senior estimators/project managers to ensure accurate and competitive bids. Participate in pre-bid meetings, RFI preparation, and clarification of scope with clients. Maintain an up-to-date database of labor rates, material prices, and supplier contacts. Assist in developing value engineering options and cost-saving alternatives. Ensure estimates comply with U.S. building codes, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 3-8 years of experience in mechanical estimating, preferably with exposure to U.S. projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. Proficiency with estimating/take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift, Trimble,FastPIPE/FastDUCT, or similar). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Strong Excel and general MS Office skills. Familiarity with U.S. construction codes, standards, and CSI divisions. Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹19,526.67 - ₹45,000.00 per month
