About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced

Mechanical Equipment Inspector

to join our upcoming offshore oil & gas project in Sohar, Oman. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in inspecting both

static and rotating equipment

, with in-depth knowledge of international codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, monitor, and verify the installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Carry out inspections on

static equipment

(pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, etc.) and

rotating equipment

(pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.). Ensure compliance with

ASME, API, ISO, and project specifications

. Prepare inspection and compliance reports with proper documentation. Coordinate with QA/QC, construction, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Ensure adherence to safety and quality requirements during all inspection activities.

Requirements:

Proven experience in inspection of

static and rotating equipment

. Strong knowledge of

ASME, API, ISO, and other international codes

. Experience in offshore/onshore oil & gas projects preferred. Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
