To take charge of manufacturing engineering activities and optimize cost of operation by selecting the best process and equipment, including proper tooling and method of manufacturing for new projects and continually improving existing projects.
Responsibilities:
Manage, coach, and support engineering team
Create a technical strategy and budget proposal
Communicate engineer team goals with engineering staff members
Coordinate internal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
Ability to determine problem, investigate different engineering options and propose the best solution based on a variety of considerations.
To have the passion and determination to grow and develop the existing teams to ensure occupant restraints analysis
Manage multiple projects simultaneously for development of mechanical products, assemblies and sub-assemblies
To map manufacturing capacity and demand, and ensure the gap is filled to meet the demand
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of supervisor role of engineering department. (With Experience Certificate)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Production or Mechanical Engineering or related field of study
2+ years' of management experience
Skills Required:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Should have good fluency in English, Marathi & Hindi
Knowledge of industry, engineering, math, and materials.
Should have experience in using MS Excel and MS Word.
