About the internship
Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Helping in running the in-house solar purification plant at NARI and at the two plants currently running at schools nearby
2. Collaborating closely and effectively with other team members to drive the development of critical and innovative improvements needed around these projects
3. Training the users and their supervisors in the maintenance and safe handling of these projects
4. Measuring the performance of the output from these projects with well-thought-out testing protocols at the site, in the lab, and at NARI
5. Helping in upgrading the existing labs at NARI to cater to current requirements and working towards making them independent profit centers for testing facilities in the future
6. Playing a key role in supporting new projects with new ideas and research
7. Reporting to the director daily

Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 23rd Oct\'24 and 27th Nov\'24

Other requirements
1. Graduate Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
2. Interest in pursuing higher Post Graduate or Doctoral education
3. Reasonable ability to communicate in Marathi with the rural project holders
4. A basic level of testing and analytical skills with water
5. Excellence in communicating effectively and leveraging resources
6. Proficiency with data analysis tools such as graphs and presentation slides
7. Command over Excel and Google suite
