About Photom Technologies

Photom Technologies is a startup company established with a vision to provide automated and sustainable solutions for renewable energy sectors. We have developed a fully automated cleaning solution for solar panels as well as we provide O&M services for solar plants. We undertake feasibility study analysis, design, procurement, and construction work for the solar plant. We were incubated at International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology, Ahmedabad (iCreate). We are also supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) of the government of India.

About the internship

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials
2. Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods & testing properties
3. Develop mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements, researching, and testing manufacturing, and assembly methods & materials, and soliciting observations from operators
4. Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components
5. Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes
6. Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
7. Preparing CAD models and simulation of the designs
