About the Role:

We are seeking a

Mechanical Engineering Intern

for a 6-month internship program. The selected candidate will assist in the

design, development, and preparation of mechanical structures and components for testing equipment

. This internship provides hands-on exposure to

mechanical design, prototyping, and product standardization

based on international benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in

designing and developing mechanical parts and assemblies

for testing instruments and related equipment. Study and

analyze product requirements, standards, and specifications

relevant to mechanical components. Conduct

comparative research on similar global products

to understand the best design and performance practices. Support in

creating CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation

using standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.). Participate in

prototype fabrication, testing, and validation

of mechanical components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Electrical, Electronics, and Testing) to ensure design compatibility. Maintain accurate

records of design iterations, modifications, and testing outcomes

. Learn and apply

industry standards (ISO, ASTM, IEC, etc.)

applicable to product design and testing.

Qualifications:

Pursuing or recently completed

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

(Final year students preferred). Basic understanding of

mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes

. Proficiency in

CAD software

(SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and documentation abilities.
