Job Description

Selected candidate day-to-day responsibilities include:

Assist with the fabrication using various tools and techniques, including welding, machining, and 3D printing. Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics for mechanical and electronic subsystems. Select, procure, and integrate appropriate components and materials, ensuring cost effectiveness and compatibility with design requirements. Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation procedures, including computer-based simulations and real-world performance assessments. Assist in the preparation and execution of underwater drone testing procedures, both in controlled environments and field locations. Participate in field visits to test sites and vendor facilities to oversee manufacturing processes and ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and support continuous improvement initiatives. Document and communicate design decisions, test results, and engineering changes clearly and effectively.
