Job Overview

Mechanical Engineering Intern position available at Biosthira Pvt. Ltd. This is an internship role with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical engineering projects. The intern will be based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and will be part of a dynamic team working towards sustainable waste management solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers with less than 1 year of experience to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, and other mechanical design software
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and arc welding
• Ability to create technical drawings and perform 3D modeling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team
• Passionate about sustainability and environmental conservation
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Prior experience or projects related to mechanical engineering is a plus

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze design requirements and provide innovative solutions
• Create detailed technical drawings, models, and simulations using software such as SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD
• Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate the performance and functionality of mechanical systems
• Assist in metal fabrication and welding processes as required
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving project efficiency and effectiveness
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Document and report project progress and findings to the engineering team
