Openings for Mechanical Engineering Design Internship at VTPL

We are looking for Mechanical/Production engineers who are looking for an opportunity in area of Design in 3D CAD and who can convert ideas into reality.

This job requires Full time working

from home

and we are looking for Immediate joiners with B.E. in Mechanical/Production.

This is a

FREE Internship

and no stipend is provided.

Responsibilities:

Study design briefs and determine requirements

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications.

Understand GD&T and apply it during the programming process.

Design, develop and engineer high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools

Use of CAD to create part models and geometry as needed.

Create documentation for assembly drawings, Bill of Materials etc.

Develop a standard library of commonly used CAD parts that can be built into a digital toolbox.

Maintain revision and quality control on programs, tool sheets, and setup documentation.

Special Purpose Machine Design and Development (including manufacturing and trails)

Jig, Fixture, Gauge design and development (including manufacturing and trails)

Machining knowledge and strong programming fundamentals

Theoretical and practical application of highly specialized knowledge in computer systems, analysis, programming, and engineering

Skills/personal qualities:

Ability to ask the right questions efficiently to gain the correct understanding of the assignment.

Training and associated certifications or a degree in CAD/CAM would be preferred

Spatial imagination and methodical understanding

Hands-on expertise in Fusion 360 would be preferred

Work individually or as a team on continuous improvement efforts.

Great attendance, a positive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure

Excellent communication skills both Verbal and Written - English and Hindi (Marathi - optional), organizational, and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Candidate must pass all background checks, educational verification and drug testing.

A keen eye for aesthetics and details

Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

Flexible to stretch working hours in case required

Organized, dependable and detail oriented
