Job Description

Looking for a professional and active Sales Engineer (Mechanical) with excellent speed to assist our engineering team for various products/items at Goregaon (E).

Candidates' tasks will include preparing of Sales Plan, Growth Plan, Marketing Plan with proper detailing. Pitching our products to various clients, industries, platform, etc. for Sales. Preparation & Checking of Proposals, Offers, Budgeting, Datasheets, Catalogues, Drawings, Quality Plans, other documents, etc. as may be required in course of the role. Generate and track enquiry Understanding the products, manufacturing procedures, commercial terms, company background and philosophy. Preparation / Updation of Manuals and Drawings for Assembly, Installation and Maintenance. Updation / Revamp of Website. Labelling, Maintaining, Storing all data & records and proper back up as per company policy, standards, etc. Following and complying with quality plans/manuals, as per industry standards. Preparation of Datasheets and Quality related documentation. Assist other colleagues in task / job completion as may be required. Co-ordination and ensuring adherence to timelines with regard to approvals, inspection, dispatch of goods, proper invoicing, documentation and payment receipts. All documentation as may be required, site/vendor/client visit, client servicing and communication shall also be a part of the profile, which is why Good command over English language is required. Should have knowledge of digital marketing.

This position is for a full-time position, preferably on consultancy basis, but has the potential to be moved over to our payrolls over time based on performance, behavior, attitude and other criteria. The candidate should have a good working knowledge of CAD software and engineering.

Typical duties and responsibilities:



Preparation of Sales pitch to existing and potential clients

Preparing a detailed future sales plan with budgets, revenue models and prospective outlay on quarterly basis.

Interact with Existing / Prospective Clients, Consultants, Engineers and others as may be required on a regular basis and generate new business.

Focus of New Client Acquisition. To increase client base, reach and visibility of company, with out of the box thinking

Field Visit / Site Visit / Client visits.

Updation / Revamp of Website. Identifying new channels for Sales and Marketing.

Preparation & Checking of Proposals, Offers, Budgeting, Datasheets, Catalogues, Drawings, Quality Plans, other documents, etc.

Understanding the products, manufacturing procedures, commercial terms, company background and philosophy.

Co-ordination internally as well as with Clients for approvals, inspection, dispatches, invoicing, incoming payment and other documentation.

Manuals / Drawings / Documents preparation shall be to industry standards or better.

Preparing Drawings/Sketches/etc. for representation in Catalogues, Brochures, etc.

All job functions as may be required to achieve sales targets, etc. including the para above

Any other Duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Required skills and qualities:



Good English (both spoken and written) is a pre-requisite and a must

Should know Digital Marketing

Proficient in Mechanical Engineering knowledge and application

Ability to negotiate and close order with clients independently

Should be proficient with Word, Excel, PDF, Power point, Outlook, Email Clients and any other such software.

Should be well versant with 3D & 2D CAD softwares'

Focus of timelines with quality and detailing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong collaborative and interpersonal ability

Expertise in time management and the ability to meet deadlines

Ability to understand technical drawings and plans

Good math and computer skills

Keen attention to minute/small details

Preferred qualifications, Education and experience:



Diploma / Certificate / Degree in Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Schooling / Education should be in English medium

5+ years of experience

Familiar with AutoCAD 3D Inventor/ Solid Works / AutoCAD 2D / Adobe / Word / Excel / Power Point / Email Clients' and other such related software required for day to day work

Ability to self-manage & work independently.
