Job Summary

We seek a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in production and planning for manufacturing units in industrial applications. This role bridges design, manufacturing, and production planning to ensure efficient, high-quality output of electromechanical products combining mechanical components. The ideal candidate optimizes production processes, plans material and capacity needs, supports assembly lines, and drives continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

? Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electrical actuators, including assembly, machining, testing, and integration of mechanical and electrical components.
? Plan production schedules, material requirements (MRP), capacity, and workflow to meet demand forecasts while minimizing downtime and costs.
? Design and improve fixtures, tools, and jigs for actuator assembly; ensure designs are manufacturable (DFM) and cost-effective.
? Collaborate with design engineers to transition new actuator products from prototype to full-scale production.
? Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, implement lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma), and improve efficiency and quality.
? Oversee quality control processes, including testing actuators for torque, speed, durability, and compliance with standards (e.g., ISO, ATEX for hazardous areas).
? Coordinate with suppliers for components like gears, motors, bearings, and enclosures; manage inventory and vendor performance.
? Support troubleshooting on the production floor, root cause analysis for defects, and implementation of corrective actions.
? Prepare reports on production metrics, cost estimates, and process improvements; maintain documentation for SOPs and work instructions.
? Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry-specific requirements for actuators.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
