Supervise and manage the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment in the power plant.
Ensure the efficiency and reliability of turbines, boilers, pumps, compressors, and other mechanical components.
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Work closely with electrical and instrumentation teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
Analyze mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Monitor fuel systems, cooling systems, and lubrication systems to enhance efficiency.
Provide technical support and training to plant operators and junior staff.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2 to 3 years of experience in a power plant or related industry.
Strong knowledge of turbines, boilers, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
Familiarity with mechanical engineering standards.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of power plant machinery.
Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
