Work on design modifications and improvements based on requirements.
Coordinate with production and fabrication teams.
Support design validation, tolerance checks, and feasibility review.
Understand customer requirements and translate into technical drawings.
Maintain project documentation and revision control.
Ensure "zero errors" in material orders -- validate material specifications, quantities, and procurement documents before release.
Ensure all deliverables (MTO, CAD drawings, nesting/layout plans) are completed and submitted in a timely manner -- ideally within 3 days from customer PO.
Required Skills
Knowledge of
AutoCAD, Solidworks
Basic understanding of GD&T, tolerance & machining processes
Knowledge of fabrication, welding symbols, laser cutting & bending drawings (added advantage)
Prepare 2D detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent) for fabrication and review
Preferred Candidate Profile
One or up to 2 years' experience in pressure vessels are welcome
Strong academic background and interest in design
Ability to learn and adapt to new design tools
