Key Responsibilities:
Operate, inspect, and maintain machinery used for drying, sieving, compressing, and packaging coco peat.
Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults in production machines.
Maintain documentation of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment performance logs.
Assist in the installation of new machinery and process lines.
Monitor machine settings and adjust parameters for optimal performance.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and preventive maintenance procedures.
Coordinate with the electrical and production teams to resolve machine-related issues.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools required for mechanical repairs.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in plant performance and machine efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment; experience in agro-processing or coco peat industry is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with mechanical maintenance, welding, fitting, and machine alignment.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machine manuals.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in dusty, humid environments.
Basic knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in industrial settings.
