Job Requirements

The scope involves providing engineering support related to non-metallic materials such as Elastomers, FRP and Thermoplastic to global energy projects.

Non-metallic material selection for onshore and offshore applications. Product evaluation, material selection and compatibility evaluation of piping system including FRP piping, CPVC, HDPE, and thermoplastic lined pipe system. Material selection and compatibility evaluation of seal, O-rings, and gaskets as per application requirements. Product evaluation, material selection and compatibility evaluation of Reinforced thermoplastic pipe (RTP), Thermoplastic composite pipe (TCP), unbonded flexible pipes, umbilical thermoplastic hoses, and thermoplastic lined pipe. Developing protocol for testing non-metallic materials used in oil and gas industry as per application requirements. Developing and reviewing Engineering Training Practice documents for all the non-metallic products mentioned above. Developing non-metallic scope of application for onshore and topside products. * Developing non-metallic scope for low carbon energy applications.
