Key Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, etc.).
Conduct engineering calculations, simulations (FEA/CFD), and performance tests.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, electrical, and quality engineering.
Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical systems.
Identify engineering problems and propose effective technical solutions.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety guidelines, and project requirements.
Manage documentation, design revisions, BOMs, and technical reports.
Support production processes and provide troubleshooting assistance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred for advanced roles).
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Creo/CATIA).
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, thermodynamics, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience in product development, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, HVAC, robotics, or related sectors.
Hands-on prototyping and testing experience.
Familiarity with PLM systems and project management tools.
Understanding of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodology.
Work Environment
Office and manufacturing/production floor environment.
Occasional travel may be required for suppliers, site visits, or field support.
