MarkEn Healthtech Limited, a pioneering manufacturer of cutting-edge healthtech and medical equipment, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to drive innovation and quality in our product range.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify deficiencies in mechanical processes and propose improvements. Design and develop prototypes and components for healthtech equipment. Analyze and test prototypes and product revisions to ensure safety and performance. Supervise and support junior engineers in the preparation of CAD drawings and technical documentation. Develop, initiate, and manage all phases of mechanical engineering projects in a regulated medical manufacturing environment. Prepare documentation of critical analysis and suggest solutions for mechanical issues. Collaborate with Project Managers to allocate resources and track project progress. Ensure all products comply with relevant industry standards, such as ISO 13485, and other medical device regulations (preferred). Write technical manuals and provide support to operators and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3+ years of experience preferred in mechanical design or engineering, ideally within healthtech or medical device manufacturing. Thorough understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and CAD software. Creative problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent teamwork, communication, and technical writing skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards specific to healthtech equipment (ISO 13485, GMP, etc.) highly desirable.

Education and Training Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline; Professional Engineering license and ABET-accredited education preferred. Experience through internships, co-ops, or junior engineering roles is beneficial.
