Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer (MEP) who will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising mechanical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, site management skills, and experience in handling end-to-end MEP activities.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

oPrepare and review MEP drawings, designs, and technical specifications.

oCoordinate with architects, civil, electrical, and other engineering teams.

oPerform load calculations, material selection, and equipment sizing for HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.

oEnsure compliance with IS codes, NBC, ASHRAE, and project-specific standards.

Project Execution

oSupervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, plumbing & fire-fighting systems.

oMonitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.

oConduct site inspections to resolve technical issues.

oPrepare daily/weekly site reports.

Coordination & Documentation

oCoordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for material procurement.

oReview BOQ, technical submittals, and method statements.

oSupport the project manager with documentation, site meetings, and client updates.

Quality & Safety

oEnsure compliance with safety standards and site protocols.

oConduct quality checks for installed systems.

oIdentify and solve technical challenges on-site.

Skills & Qualifications

B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 3-6 years of experience in MEP projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting systems & relevant standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; knowledge of Revit is an added advantage. Good communication, team coordination, and site management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and work under deadlines.
