Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.).
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation as per company standards.
Ensure minimum machine downtime and achieve maintenance KPIs.
Supervise maintenance team and ensure adherence to safety standards during maintenance work.
Coordinate with the production department to schedule maintenance activities.
Support in the installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment.
Maintain and monitor spare parts inventory and raise indents as required.
Liaise with vendors and contractors for specialized repair or service work.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and reliability.
Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
3-7 years of experience in plant / manufacturing maintenance (preferably in motors, fans, or related industries).
