Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of all mechanical rides, equipment, and infrastructure within the amusement park. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond quickly to ride-related issues to ensure guest safety and smooth park operations.

Key Responsibilities:Ride & Equipment Maintenance

Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical rides and attractions. Ensure all rides comply with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and statutory regulations. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime. Maintain detailed maintenance logs and inspection reports for all rides. Monitor ride safety systems and ensure safe operation throughout the day. Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions immediately. Ensure compliance with state amusement park safety rules and engineering standards. Assist in annual audits and certifications of rides. Coordinate with ride operators for smooth functioning and quick issue resolution. Respond to breakdowns or emergency shutdowns and restore operations promptly. Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new rides and equipment.

Technical & Administrative Duties

Maintain mechanical equipment inventory, spare parts stock, and maintenance tools. Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, and documentation. Work with vendors and manufacturers for ride parts, technical support, and upgrades. Guide and supervise maintenance technicians and helpers. Work closely with the Electrical, Civil, Safety, and Operations teams for cross-functional tasks. Provide training on ride handling, safety measures, and emergency protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

n Mechanical Engineering. 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance (experience in amusement parks, rides, or industrial machinery preferred). Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear systems, and mechanical controls. Ability to read technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and during emergencies. Outdoor and indoor work across various ride locations. Physically demanding role involving inspections, repairs, and quick response to breakdowns.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
