Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented

Mechanical Engineer

to join our shipbuilding team. The candidate will be involved in the design, fabrication, installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems used in ships and marine structures. Both fresh graduates and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of ship machinery systems such as propulsion, HVAC, piping, and hydraulic systems. Support fabrication, assembly, and installation of mechanical equipment onboard vessels. Prepare and review technical drawings, material specifications, and documentation. Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams to ensure project milestones are achieved. Conduct inspections and performance testing of mechanical components. Participate in troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical systems. Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality procedures in all engineering activities.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of mechanical principles and marine systems. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of shipbuilding processes will be an added advantage. Willingness to learn and adapt to shipyard work environments.

Eligibility:

Freshers:

Passionate about the marine industry and eager to start a career in shipbuilding.

Experienced:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in mechanical or marine engineering preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
