Position Title:

Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Production Engineer

Department:

Production / Maintenance / Quality / Projects

Reporting To:

Production Manager / Engineering Manager

Job Purpose:

To plan, monitor, and control mechanical engineering operations including production, process improvement, machine performance, and technical problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:A. Production & Process Control

Supervise mechanical production processes and daily operations. Ensure correct process parameters, machine settings, and product quality. Identify and reduce

rework, rejection, and process deviations

.

B. Technical Support & Engineering

Review and understand

engineering drawings, BOM, CAD designs

. Support in tooling, fixture development, fabrication improvements, and design modifications. Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical issues.

C. Maintenance Coordination

Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. Improve equipment uptime and performance.

D. Quality & Compliance

Ensure adherence to

ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001

standards. Work with QA for inspections, testing, and documentation.

E. Project & Team Coordination

Support new product development (NPD) activities. Coordinate with production, purchase, design, and QA departments. Train and guide operators and technicians.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of

mechanical systems, fabrication, machining, hydraulics, pneumatics

. Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T. Knowledge of

Lean, 5S, Kaizen

preferred. Good communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / BE / B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

1-3 years - Engineer / Junior Engineer 3-7 years - Production / Mechanical Engineer 7+ years - Senior Mechanical Engineer (if required)

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
