Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Company Overview

KITCO is a multi-disciplinary Engineering, Management, and Technical Consulting firm offering end-to-end consultancy services from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Design and select HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, ductwork, and ventilation. Perform heat load calculations, airflow analysis, and system sizing. Ensure designs meet ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, and local building codes. Design water supply, drainage, sanitary, and fire suppression systems. Collaborate with electrical, civil, and architectural teams for MEP integration. Review and approve mechanical drawings and specifications. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for procurement and installation. Monitor site execution of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and performance testing. Prepare technical reports, compliance documents, and O&M manuals. Ensure energy efficiency, green building compliance (LEED/BREEAM), and safety standards.

Requirements

Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and CFD tools. Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and industry standards. Problem-solving and analytical abilities. Good teamwork and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 3 years' experience in MEP design, execution, or consultancy. Preferred: LEED, PMP, or HVAC-related certifications.
