AJ Architects is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a
minimum of 2 years of GCC experience,
to handle mechanical system design, coordination, and site execution support for residential and commercial building projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design, review, and implement mechanical systems including
HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems
for residential and commercial projects.
Prepare mechanical drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and site teams
Supervise mechanical works at site and ensure adherence to drawings and specifications
Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
Assist in project planning, material selection, and vendor coordination
Identify and resolve mechanical design or execution issues efficiently
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering
Minimum
2+ years of GCC experience
in building services or construction projects
Strong knowledge of
HVAC systems, plumbing, fire-fighting, and MEP coordination
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
(Revit knowledge is an added advantage)
Good understanding of construction practices and site execution
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Skills
Experience in working with architectural firms or construction consultants
Familiarity with local building codes and standards
Basic knowledge of project estimation and cost control.
