Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Water Systems & Hydraulic Pumps

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in the design and development of water systems and hydraulic pumps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering design, calculations, testing, and support across projects related to pumping systems and fluid handling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop water systems, hydraulic pumps, and related mechanical components

Prepare design calculations, technical drawings, and specifications

Use CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for 2D/3D modeling

Perform hydraulic calculations for flow, head, pressure, and efficiency

Support prototype development, testing, and performance validation

Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams for design implementation

Assist in troubleshooting design and field-related issues

Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and customer requirements

Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and design reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

1-4 years of experience in water systems, hydraulic pumps, or fluid machinery design

Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, hydraulics, and pump selection

Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent)

Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T

Familiarity with industry standards related to pumps and piping systems

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

Experience with centrifugal pumps, piping systems, valves, and fittings

Exposure to testing standards and performance curves

Experience working with vendors and cross-functional engineering teams

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
