: Mechanical Engineer - ECOR Greentech

Role: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Department: R&D / Engineering & Fabrication

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components for plasma reactors, gas flow systems, vacuum chambers, and experimental setups. Prepare 2D/3D CAD drawings (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) for prototypes and pilot-scale equipment. Coordinate with vendors, fabrication workshops, and internal teams for machining, welding, and assembly. Conduct mechanical testing, system integration, and troubleshooting of R&D setups. Support installation, maintenance, and improvement of lab and industrial systems.
Requirements

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proficiency in CAD design and understanding of fabrication/manufacturing processes. Experience with vacuum systems, pressure vessels, thermal systems, or plasma equipment is a bonus. Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
