Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our

Granite Mining

, responsible for overseeing the mining machinery workshop. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience, preferably with a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, and a strong background in the maintenance of

Heavy Earthmoving machinery used in Granite Mining. Exposure to brands like Volvo, Hyundai

, and JRD will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Workshop Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the mining machinery workshop. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely and efficient repairs and preventive maintenance of Heavy Earthmoving machinery.

Equipment Maintenance:

Implement maintenance schedules and procedures for Heavy Earthmoving machinery. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.

Brand Expertise:

Utilize expertise in brands such as Volvo, Hyundai, JCB for effective maintenance and troubleshooting. Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in the field.

Inventory Management:

Manage spare parts inventory for mining machinery. Ensure availability of critical spare parts to minimize downtime.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in using computer software, including ERP, for maintenance planning and record-keeping.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in the maintenance of Heavy Earthmoving machinery. Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering is required. Exposure to brands like Volvo, Hyundai, and JRD will be an added advantage.

Location Preferences:

Candidates with strong working exposure in the Mining or Construction Industry will be given preference.

Communication and Leadership Skills:

Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and other departments. Strong leadership skills to guide the maintenance team effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
