Position Details

? Designation: Resident Engineer - Mechanical

? Qualification: BE/B Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

? Location: Jalgaon-Bhusawal Region, Maharashtra

? Experience: 2-5 years

? Employment type: Full-time

? Reports to: Project Manager

? Salary: As per industry norms, and no bar for deserving candidates

4. Key Responsibilities

? Monitor execution works ensuring quality and safety compliance.

? Supervise daily site activities for mechanical works, including pumps, pumping stations, STPs,

WTPs, and pipeline-related mechanical installations.

? Carry out site inspections, collect data, verify dimensions, and prepare site visit reports.

? Support the design of pumps, pumping stations, mechanical equipment, and treatment plant

systems.

? Assist in feasibility studies, DPR preparation, and project concept notes.

? Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and specifications for mechanical works.

? Review and prepare AutoCAD drawings of project components.

? Witness testing/inspection of mechanical equipment and materials; ensure compliance with

specifications.

? Verify contractor bills and assist in the preparation of progress reports.

? Coordinate with civil, process, electrical, and instrumentation teams for integrated project

delivery.

? Participate in client/government meetings to present technical updates.

? Represent the organization in client/government meetings.

5. Knowledge & Skills

? Experience in water/sewage projects; knowledge of state DSRs and estimation of project

components.

? Understanding of STP, WTP, pumping systems, and distribution/collection networks.

? Knowledge of sewage/water quality specifications, clearances, and permissions.

? Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (mandatory).

? Familiarity with Primavera/MSP (advantageous).

? Strong documentation and technical reporting skills.

? Exposure to construction/PMC of WTPs, STPs, sewerage networks, pumping machinery, and

related civil infrastructure

6. Leadership & Teamwork

? Deliver outputs as per project/client timelines.

? Maintain proactive communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

? Support project managers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

7. Mandatory Qualifications

? Education: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

? Experience: 2-5 years in water, sewage, or reuse infrastructure projects.

? Technical Skills: AutoCAD, MS Office, estimation, and basic design of pumps/mechanical

systems.

? Professional Traits: Proactive, detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, and a team

player.
