Job Summary

As a

Mechanical Engineer (Fresher)

in a fabrication company, you will assist in planning, supervising, and executing fabrication processes related to metal structures, components, and assemblies. Your role involves working on

cutting, welding, bending, and assembling

sheet metal or structural steel parts while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

3. Key Responsibilities

Support the

fabrication, assembly, and fitting

of mechanical components and structures. Read and interpret

engineering drawings and fabrication blueprints

. Assist in preparing

material cutting lists

and

production schedules

. Monitor fabrication processes like

welding, machining, drilling, and finishing

. Work with production and quality teams to ensure

dimensional accuracy

and

tolerances

. Assist in maintaining

workshop tools, machines, and safety equipment

. Prepare

daily production reports

and help track project progress. Learn and implement

welding codes (ASME, AWS)

and safety standards. Support

inspection and testing

of fabricated items before dispatch.

4. Required Skills

Basic knowledge of

fabrication processes

(cutting, welding, bending, rolling). Familiarity with

engineering drawings

and

GD&T

. Understanding of

welding symbols, materials (MS, SS, aluminum)

, and fabrication tools. Hands-on exposure to

workshop practices

and measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer). Proficiency in

AutoCAD / SolidWorks

for layout and fabrication drawings. Knowledge of

production planning

and

quality assurance procedures

. Teamwork, attention to detail, and safety awareness.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
