Preventive and routine maintenance: Performing scheduled tasks like lubrication, calibration, and cleaning to prevent unexpected breakdowns and extend the equipment's lifespan.
Breakdown maintenance: Diagnosing and repairing issues that cause machine stoppages, often involving mechanical or electrical troubleshooting.
Equipment installation: Assisting with the setup, installation, and commissioning of new CNC machinery.
PLC and software management: Working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and relevant software applications to diagnose and fix programming-related problems.
Technical support:
Providing technical assistance to machine operators, and sometimes training them on basic maintenance procedures.
Record-keeping:
Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities to track equipment performance and identify recurring issues.
Performance improvement:
Identifying and implementing modifications to improve machine performance and efficiency.
Safety compliance:
Ensuring all maintenance activities are performed safely and adhere to industry regulations.
Required skills and qualifications
Technical degree: A bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering is a common requirement.
CNC expertise: In-depth knowledge of CNC programming and the specific controllers used, such as Fanuc or Siemens.
Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment working with CNC machinery, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
Communication: The ability to communicate effectively with production teams, management, and parts suppliers.
Shift Time- 9.30am - 6pm
