Job Title: Mechanical Draughtsman
Experience: 2 - 6 years
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Software Skills: AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP
Job Summary:
The Mechanical Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing and updating mechanical and MEP drawings, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting layouts. The role involves detailed drafting, coordination with engineers and other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting system drawings in AutoCAD/Revit MEP
Develop MEP coordination drawings integrating multiple services
Update and maintain as-built drawings and documentation
Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams for layout accuracy
Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications and quality standards
Support design and site teams in technical detailing and modifications
Required Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP
Sound knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting)
Understanding of MEP coordination and services integration
Attention to detail and strong drafting accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
