Urgently hiring for Mechanical Draughtman

Position:

Mechanical Draughtman

Experience:

0-3 Years

Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering

Location: Ambernath, Mumbai

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

2D drawings and basic 3D models

using

AutoCAD and SolidWorks

. Develop

manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly drawings

as per project requirements. Assist in preparing

BOM (Bill of Materials)

and technical documentation. Modify and revise drawings based on design changes and feedback from the engineering team.

Visit client sites whenever required

to witness the product, take actual measurements, and understand site conditions. Coordinate with

design, production, quality, and site teams

for drawing clarifications and updates. Ensure drawings comply with

engineering standards and company specifications

. Maintain proper records and

version control of drawings

.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

Basic working knowledge of

AutoCAD and SolidWorks

.

Good knowledge of measuring instruments

such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, dial gauge, etc. Ability to take accurate measurements at the shop floor or client site.

Basic knowledge of engineering materials

(MS, SS, alloy steels, etc.) and their applications. Understanding of

mechanical drawings, tolerances, and basic GD&T

. Ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is an added advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering. Willingness to travel to

client sites when required

. Good observation skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and adapt to new design and site requirements. Good communication and coordination skills.
