Job Description

Creating general arrangement drawings, nozzle orientations, and detailed drawings for pressure vessels, storage tanks, condensers, columns, etc. Proficiency in generating 2D drawings for pressure vessels, piping layouts, and fabrication drawings in the refining industry. Developing plant layout and elevation drawings for shop floor operations. Producing final as-built drawings. Compiling Bill of Materials. Designing equipment layouts. Crafting PFDs & P&IDs. Understanding basic piping concepts and symbols. Conducting weight and volume calculations. Familiarity with ASME / API / TEMA codes. Knowledge of various materials used in vessels, etc.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:

Certificate course in AutoCAD

Experience:

Minimum 3 years as a Mechanical Draughtsman in an engineering company.

Knowledge of Software:

2D AutoCAD is required. Candidates residing in the Western suburbs of Mumbai will be given preference. Must be a team player and self-starter. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
