Design Engineer

Subjected to: Design Manager

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Shall prepare mechanical drawings.

May study the drawing files and explain the same to the Production and Works Manager.

May visit customers' site to analyze the available facility and space and prepare drawings according to those constraints.

May prepare the Bill of Materials or assist with the lead designer in preparation of the same.

Can coordinate with the Purchase Manager to clarify any doubts in the quality or quantity of purchase.

Should perform quality inspection and specification verification of certain purchased material.

Should perform stage wise quality inspection of the production items.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Education/Experience:

Must have an extensive knowledge in AutoCAD.

Must have knowledge in Solidworks/Autodesk Inventor.

Must have the ability to understand complicated drawings.

Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel is preferred.

Must understand the fabrication work.

Preferably having prior experience in Heat Treatment Furnaces

A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.

A minimum of two years of experience in the design of furnaces is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
