Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and accurate mechanical drafter with an interest in mechanical engineering and a self-motivated attitude. You will be working with our team to create a variety of technical drawings of which tool drawings comprise the major part.

Job Responsiblities

:

Create technical drawings and manufacturing schematics using measurements, specifications and additional data from engineering team

Collect initial drawings, calculations and design ideas from the technical team or customers and combine all relevant data into coherent and complete initial design models for review and modification

Coordinate directly with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices

Annotate and verify all numerical designations and specifications in technical drawings and schematics, using both CAD programs and manual calculations when necessary

Communicate with the manufacturing team and assist in the production process as and when required pertaining to the design of the product to achieve the necessary specifications desired

Additional responsibilities:

Maintaining records associated with the incoming and outgoing jobs, studying the job as per the requirements of the customer, regulating the process flow of the job from initiation till dispatch.

Communication with the customers regarding the job and informing the higher authorities in case of irregularities if any.

Preparation of inspection reports as per the readings taken by the production team, engraving of the finished tools and final packing of the same as per the company standards.

Skills Required

Relevant experience in CAD 2D drawing preparation

Strong attention to detail with respect to technical aspects and mathematical abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
