Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, proficiency in drafting software, and the ability to work and create accurate and functional mechanical designs. You will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, schematics, and designs that will contribute to the development of innovative mechanical systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for mechanical systems and components. Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drafts. Create 2D and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). Review design plans and make necessary revisions to improve accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability. Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and specifications. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that designs can be produced as specified. Maintain accurate records of design changes and revisions. Perform quality control checks on completed drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or in a similar role. Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools). Strong understanding of mechanical systems and design principles. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineers and other departments. Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations is a plus.
